Legionnaires showing love

On Christmas Day Commander Lisa Groves cooked ham,potato salad,green beans, a red velvet cake and 2 Christmas cakes for the three out of the four Oxford Houses in Charleston/Dunbar areas.   American Legion Post 11 also provided sodas,paper plates and paper cups for this dinner. 
 
Legionnaires of The Sgt. Joseph "Joe" Turner American Legion Post 11 Timothy Venning,Joseph Anderson,Trishcelle Salazar and a volunteer Ray Willis (Salazar's boyfriend) assisted in delivering the meals to the houses. 
 
The Sgt. Joseph "Joe" Turner American Legion Post 11 provided Thanksgiving meals to three of the four Oxford Houses in the Charleston/Dunbar areas this year. This will be a annual event for the  Thanksgiving,Christmas,Easter, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July holidays .
