I don't know how many of you have a list like this, but I started mine a while back. Today I can say I have one less on the list.

For many years I have been visiting the Florida Keys. On these trips I always make it a point to visit Key West at least once. Because of the size of the city and the amount of people that are usually present, I normally rent a little moped and buzz around taking in all the sites. Some of my favorite hot spots include; Captain Tony's, Sloppy Joe's, The Bull and Fat Tuesdays. As you can see I spend a lot of time in the local bars (laughing). Because I am an avid rider my most favorite place to visit is The Hogs Breath Saloon. 

For years now I have swallowed my pride and dignity as I parked my little rental moped in front of the historic biker bar. As I slinked away from the embarrassing mode of transportation I always knew in the back of my mind that one day I would turn some heads as I rumbled up on my hog. Imagining myself popping the throttle a few times and hopping off with the swagger of a veteran rider.

On Saturday October 18th 2008 the chrome was clean the sun was out and I twisted the throttle a few times to announce my arrival. The ride down was beautiful and the beer was cold. It was everything I thought it would be and I was living out my dream.
