Hi, I am William D. Shaw. I was at Normandy at Utah Beach on June 6th. 1944. A board PC -619. We left South Hamton, England with 96 Landing Craft behind us Headed for Normady we ended up at Uth Beach at Sherberg, France. We was told that we shot sown a HE-177 air craft and took one survier aboard. and was the 1st. Priisoner of War that was taken. I would like to have my name entered in to be recongize to the fact.
